You passed the test.

Chano
------------
Thanks. My four "testing" posts never showed up on my newsreader.
Best regards,
---Cindy S.

Perhaps that was because they were totally empty.
--------
But apparently they showed up on Chano's newsreader (and the ones that I
posted to other newsgroups also showed up on my newsreader).
Best regards,
---Cindy S.

As this is a moderated NG, testing postings, being off-topic,
should not be passed through.

Use alt.test or alike for testing.
----------
I would hope that none of the SCJMers is so rigid that an occasional test
posting (which is clearly marked as such) isn't going to raise any hackles.
It certainly doesn't bother me when other people do it. The whole point was
that my posts were not getting through to *this* newsgroup (SCJM) whereas
they were getting through to other unmoderated newsgroups. Since the problem
was *this* newsgroup, and not *alt.test*, (I was trying to figure out if my
posts were being held up in moderation versus not getting through for
technical reasons), sending a test post to alt.test would have been a waste
of time.
Best regards,
---Cindy S.
