But these particular people are. Does the suburb of Elkana want to invest
money to accomodate the growth of this particular clique into a community
or not? I'm unsurprised that its rabbi fought for "not".
It's also asking the Chief Rabbi's office's budget to support people
who want to rule different than they do. And yes, I say "want". I do
not know of an L ruling that requires rather than prefers the usual
miqvah designs. I know of no one who considers herself a nidah if she
used a Rav Moshe Feinstein style miqvah. The question of whether this
preference outweighs the desiratum for unity is for the respective LORs.
