snippage for brevity (leaving just enough material so anyone reading this
will know the context of the question)
Let's suppose I wanted to sit for the same certification this guybe
sat for, or I wanted to sit for certification in any part of yoreh deah?
Would I (as a woman) be permitted? Or suppose I wanted certification on
some other part of the shulchan aruch that wasn't part of the semicha
requirement. Do such certification exams exist, and would I (as a woman)
permitted to sit for them? (In general, I don't necessarily mean with your------------------
organization).
One last question: To the best of your knowledge, is there any O institution
which is willing to confer a BTL (Bachelor's of Talmudic Law) degree on a
woman who has completed the requirements? (Drisha offers a 3-year
certification in "Talmud and Jewish Law" but not an actual Bachelor's
degree). Just curious.
A BTL is a "toilet paper" [church] degree and is worthless. There is
one law school that lets in applicants with a BTL and a very high score
on the LSATs, and one rinky dink business schooldink busineslets in
applicants with a BTL plus very very high scores on the GMATs. Othewise,
it is a useless degree.
