Keep in mind that when the nazis were trying to conquor Europe and
kill us, it was the Swedes who chose to sit on the sidelines and do
nothing about it. They can keep their Volvos and KD furniture.

Yes but politics change over time. One of the weirdest things I heard
was sitting at the Frankfurt airport and hearing boarding calls for a
flight to Tel Aviv.

What is weird about this? I have taken a Tel Aviv flight
from Frankfurt.

The German government has attempted to atone for the Nazi
treatment of the Jews. Whether it has done not enough, or
too much, can of course be debated. The German government,
since it was reestablished after WWII, has had generally
good dealings with Israel.

I know. It just sounds a bit weird, given the history. The point was also
made in reference to Eliyahu talking about th Swedes' attitude during the
war. People, and countries, change.
