Dear Friends,
There has been an update for the Surname Navigator Israel, a one
input-form mega search engine for surnames and "cross-border"
emigration research. There is a global version and separate versions
for 45 countries. Also new are tips for (genealogy) books/software and
primary links to important research sites.

The site is a good starting point to search for a name or missing
relatives. Researchers can save many hours using mega search engines
such as these. Some have reported excellent results
For Surname Navigator Israel the following databases are searchable:
LDS (Mormons) Databases Israel, Geneanet Israel, Jewish passengers NY,
1892-1924, Lezecher Dutch Holocaust Victims, Yad Vashem Names Database,
Rootsweb Message Board Israel, Poland Holocaust Records, Jewish
Community England, The Poor Jews' Temporary Shelter Database, Michigan
Jewish Cemetery Index, Genforum Jewish.
For tracing back Jewish migration records it could also be interesting
to check surname navigator Germany, Poland, USA, Russia, Ukraine and
Belarus.
Shalom
Rob Kuijsten,
Netherlands
