What is your argument? That every skill you utilize in your work you
ipso facto bring to bear here? That is an argument on an abstract
proposition. Even assuming you use those skills in your work. Where
do you ACCEPT subjectivity there anyway? You write what you think is
correct. When, as in the case of Munich, someone contradicts you, you
go wild.
Only in your imagination. My argument -- stated plainly -- is that your
statement is ridiculous.
Because you "rely on the acceptance of subjective
opinions to earn a living." That is why my statement that you reject
subjectivity is "ridiculous."
I think not. You do not accept the subjectivity of your statements
here. You time and again insist they are the only possibility. You do
not accept that others can reasonably disagree with you and not be
some kind of sub-human entity. You repeatedly tried to lecture to me
why I should not attend the Republican Naitonal Convention as if you
are some kind of authority on what Jews should do.
Is that accepting my subjectivity? Realizing that I too can have a
valid notion of what Jews should do? Or is it telling me my subjective
judgments are worthless and I must substitute them with yours?
Well?
Here I am arguing facts. You cannot accept subjectivity here in SCJM
posts, especially when I post something that contradicts you.
It will be interesting someday to see you actually begin "arguing facts."
I just did argue facts now five or seven times. The facts of how you
have responded to me. Please do not dodge this with one of your famous
tangents, misreads, taking thngs so literally you make them sound
completely different than their reasonable original tenor.
Haven't seen any examples that come to mind.
Read the last ten posts in this thread and your use of loaded insulting
terminology to attack me. Those are the facts.
You reject any countenance of subjectivity each and every time.
You imagine that when a person expresses an opinion contrary to yours it is
a rejection of who you are and how you experience the world.
No, I percieve that when you say I am in a "fugue state",
"hallucinating" "imagining it" "whining" "obsessive" and similar terms
that that has nothing to do with a contrary opinion and everything to
do with defining me.
It is personal vilification.
You will need
to get over this or you will find yourself imagining yourself constantly
under attack.
I live and function in the real world extremely well. I know as well
as you do that that last remark is another of your attempts at
character assasination by psychobabble.
I only perceive it in YOUR remarks to me. It started with the Jewish
texts in translation issue and has gotten worse each and every month or
so.
THAT is Judaism. Not authoritative pronouncements on your specific
view of Munich, the settlers, the Amnona violence, etc. as being the
only possible view.
And since I have done no such thing we are left with your fevered
imagination. I express my views. I do not claim they are the "only
possible view." I will criticize views that have no grounding in facts,
which is probably why you imagine I am criticizing you all the time.
I see that you criticize PEOPLE, not views. A view is not in a "fugue
state."
A view does not "hallucinate." A view is not neurotic. A view does
not "whine." A view does not "imagine" anything.
And when you do criticize views, I believe you have done it in a manner
which is wholly conclusory and authoritarian, as if only you have the
truth, as if you have no bias or ax to grind. Yet, your opinions are,
in fact, like every other human, based upon a set of values, not some
objective, identifiable, and reproducible truth.
