And the "tzena" in the 50s was a direct result of another "more correct"
economy?

Israel cannot afford to be a socialist/communist state much longer. It
didn't work in the former Soviet Union and it won't work in Israel.

Bibi's policies are clearly painful in the short run, but if Israel is to
have a viable economy, the old vestiges of the welfare state have to be
removed.
