Or one could take the basic Reform attitude; put down the
principles and the arguments, and let people decide.

I am not concerned with what a sage concluded, but with
the reasoning. Not all argue the same. Hertz mentions
in his _Chumash_ that he considers glazed pottery to be
like glass when it comes to meat and milk.

Reasoning based on principles, not pronouncement from
philosophers, are what we need.
