Yes Jay, I firmly believe that those PEOPLE (police) who carried out the
evacuation should be prosecuted and jailed [for an illegal act] of forced
entry and kidnapping :-) Those who were defending their property were
acting in self-defense and in full congruence with the letter of the law.
Just because the knesset approves something doesn't make it automatically
"legal". A law can be "illegal".
Go ask a criminal lawyer. I did (in fact an assistant DA) and the police
have no case.
