Any nice drama serial on ancient Japan Warring States?

If China got the historical drama TV serials on "Romance of the Three
Kingdoms", what is the equivalent in Japanese? I am referring to the
ones that give a GRAND overview, not just one of two of the notable
battles.
I am a war movie buff, enjoy watching movies related to great
historical warring events.
Any recommendation DVD or VCD I could easily get from online video
stores?
