Re: JAPAN and WHALES

CRAP. Most of the world realises that there is no justification for
hunting
whales. The number of whaling nations is tiny.

BULL***! What scientific research does Japan do on the whales that it
slaughters other than a taste test?

All very nice but Japan doesn't do scientific whaling. The whaling it
does
is purely so that Japanes can eat whale meat.

Why would it? The feral nations who support whaling would just love
that.
They'd decimate the world's whale populations in a few years.

Bull***. Whales are intelligent creatures. Human beings don't kill
intelligent creatures. Hell, we don't kill a lot of unintelligent
creatures.
If we did there'd be a lot less Japs chasing whale meat.

Correct. It has nothing to do with science.

What other utilised food sources. There are plenty of cows, chickens
and
other creatures.

Not in Australia. We've got lots of land for beef production and no
shortage
of beef.

> Whaling is about environmentally friendly as you could get.

Not to the whales it isn't.

No it wouldn't. Let the Japs take their leaky boats and if any of them
reach
the Southern Ocean they can take as many whales as they can carry.

Australians learned their lessons many years ago and stopped whaling
completely. The Japs still do it.

So now you're claiming that an explosive charge doesn't cause any
blood!

> The Japanese research programmes currently run at a loss.

They aren't research programs you idiot. They're food gathering
programs.
Look at the hypocrisy in this photo:

How much meat do they need for tissue samples?

Where is the scientific data from these alleged scientific programs?
Scientists have tried to get copies but there is none available for any

price.

GOOD. Then let's hope that moratorium is lifted and let the whales live
in
peace. In the meantime we should start doing scientific studies on the
Japanese to find out why they're still arrogant bastards, even after
two
atomic bombs.
