ne blast went off at an Islamic school run by a prominent anti-Taliban
cleric in the city of Lahore.
The other occurred near a mosque in the northwestern town of Nowshera,
according to police.
On Monday, a suicide bomb rocked the Pearl Continental Hotel, killing
nine and injuring dozens.
There was no claim of responsibility, but the Taliban has warned of
retaliation because of the Swat offensive, and there has been a new
trend in militant tactics towards using gunmen in support of a suicide
bomber.
