SYRIA LAYS DIPLOMATIC TRAP FOR ISRAEL
Israel and the P.A. reached an agreement for the ambulances of each
side to be accepted in the other side. Meanwhile, the Intl. Committee
of the Red Cross seems about to accept another, and neutral symbol, for
Israel to use, and thus for Israel to be eligible for membership in the
organization. Syria, however, asked for a delay in Israel's
admission.
Syria claimed it wanted a delay so it could work out a similar
agreement for its emergency service workers to get to Arabs in the
Golan Heights (NY Sun, 12/7, p.5).
Syria's request is not logical; the request is a separate issue.
Syria wants to hold Israel's Red Cross membership hostage to
recognition of a Syrian role on the Golan. The Golan, however, now
legally is part of Israel.
The agreement with the P.A. is illusory. Arabs don't keep
agreements. Neither do they respect conventions of civilization. They
use their ambulances to ferry terrorists and arms, which is a war
crime. They fire upon Israeli ambulances, which is another war crime.
The way that the P.A. handles violations of such agreements is to claim
that it didn't order the violation by terrorists (whom it subsidizes
or coddles), and that it needs concessions by Israel, the victim, to
give it the prestige to crack down on terrorists.
By now it should be clear that the P.A. means what it says that it
won't crack down on terrorists, whom it celebrates, and that it
couldn't, except to stop paying them.
BRITISH DIDN'T TRY TO STOP TERRRORIST FUNDING
Britain has a Charities Commission that is supposed to monitor
ostensible charities. NGO Monitor warned the Commission that Muslim
terrorists set up false front charities through which to funnel money
for terrorism. The Commission ignored the advice. Terrorist funding
continues in Britain (12/4, IMRA).
Why is Europe cowardly about terrorists?

that the man enthroned last week as Greek Orthodox patriarch of
Jerusalem signed a secret document obliging him to nullify the recent
sale to Jewish groups of land in Jerusalem's Old City, and made
statements against Jews living in parts of Jerusalem." (Arutz-7,
12/4). Why? Pressure? By whom?
UNDERSTANDING THE "ROAD KILL"
People think the Map is a set agreement. No, Sharon had 14
reservations; it was not adopted officially; it is a national suicide
pact; it is vague;, and it shifts with new simplistic demands made
against Israel (Winston Mid East Analysis, 12/4).
