By the way, I had my first guffaw last night re. the book you and I
(and Eugene, and Jochen) have in common. It was the first mention of
Ulster Scotts in the book (how to say the word exit), and in the same
sentence, the local lingo description of kids with learning
disabilities. I'm still laughing at it, in fact. I'll say no more to
avoid being a spoilsports for the throngs that bought the book at your
recommendation.
Caít()
Humor is a funny thing.
I enjoyed the Ulster Scotts bit. Like Cait() I found myself smiling rather
than laughing, and after about 40 pages I returned to my previous reads.
I may return to the book after finishing those. Mind you, old Greville
took eight volumes to make his point, so it will take me a while!
Jochen
