Some years ago my dog made it plain that he didn't like pork or
chicken. At that time I kept bantam chickens and bought chicken
pellets once. The label said nothing whatsoever about the ingredients.
What was it hiding? I came to the conclusion that dog carcass was
included in pig and chicken feed. I didn't investigate, just made up
my mind.

Now we have non stop vilification of some pig feed supplier like it's
all his fault. This is balanced with phrases like “perfectly safe” and
“isolated incident” and “safe to give it to the dog”. Well it is all
lies.

We do not have a food chain – we have a food system. The food you feed
your dog will find its way back onto your table in the form of eggs,
chicken, pork and bacon – that is, your dog will.

People are not used to thinking in systems. The food system is just as
rotten as the financial system was (before it collapsed). Economics is
psychology for adults and is based on people's perception of value –
look into the future.

It is perfectly save to eat *** if you cook it properly.

“One last word of caution: meat and bone meal from sources not fit for
human consumption has found its way into poultry feed. This means that
animal products rendered under questionable conditions are fed to
birds that may wind up on your table. Remember this when you are
eating your next piece of chicken or turkey.”

“One estimate states that some 40 billion pounds of slaughterhouse
wastes like blood, bone, and viscera, as well as the remains of
millions of euthanised cats and dogs passed along by veterinarians and
animal shelters, are rendered annually into livestock feed.“

http://www.preciouspets.org/rendering.htm

"Because animals are frequently shoved into the pit with flea collars
still attached organophosphate-containing insecticides get into the
mix as well. The insecticide Dursban arrives in the form of cattle
insecticide patches. Pharmaceuticals leak from antibiotics in
livestock, and euthanasia drugs given to pets are also included. Heavy
metals accumulate from a variety of sources: pet ID tags, surgical
pins and needles.”

"Even plastic winds up going into the pit. Unsold supermarket meats,
chicken and fish arrive in styrofoam trays and shrink wrap. No one has
time for the tedious chore of unwrapping thousands of rejected meat-
packs. More plastic is added to the pits with the arrival of cattle ID
tags, plastic insecticide patches and the green plastic bags
containing pets from veterinarians.”

ok then we all eat *** using your theory.
they fertilize plants with manure, the grass eats the manure the cow eats
the grass , we eat the cow. at leat for us carnivores the *** is twice
filtered,
for vegetarians they get it only once removed.

Yes, an unfortunate reference. However, it took me a long time to find
the information - it had been guesswork and folklore before. Why is it
so well hidden?

The problem with efficient systems is that they are prone to
cathastrophic collapse. The financial instruements which collapsed in
value were a 'package' - a mix - a calculated probability of value. So
too is animal feed. So what? Religion has a habit of hijacking human
values and then claiming provenance. When religion is shown up for
what it is, then human values get lost for a period of time. I'm
taking a break from sci so please excuse if I don't respond to any
comment you may make.
