A man is in a serious but stable condition in hospital after he was shot by four masked men in County Donegal.
It happened in Transalla near St Johnston at about 2130 BST on Thursday.
Gardai said the men were waiting for the 26-year-old to return home, and surrounded his girlfriend as she got out of their car to open a gate.
ALL due to the activities of Republican scum, no doubt!
