Cat(h) said she was educated in France which doesn't educate children
(in the schools) to worship God. Are you saying all of France have no
moral or family values and are doomed to hell?
No... I'm saying that children raised in schools where prayer is part of it...
Are better prepared for life... Become better human beings, and contribute
better to the betterment of society...
I am obviously very poorly prepared for life, a much worse human being
than you, and my contribution to the betterment of society cannot
measure up to yours.
Quit the sarcasm... I know you don't like me... But your spreading it a bit
too thick here so that even I can see it!
In my life experience... We were beaten first by nuns... and they by CB's... At
the time, it felt cruel... Yet they instilled a good value belief in me...
Nothing quite like a good little hiding to inculcate the right values
into a kid, I say.
Sarcasm again...
Nothing gets you to stop chewing in class like 10 strikes of the leather across
your hand... and when it hurts 10 minutes later... You know not to bring
chewing gum again into school!!! It might have seemed extreme... But the
lessons learned then held me good through my entire life...
I've never committed a crime... Never been in trouble with the law... I've
been a valuable contributor to the greater society... Just as I and anyone else
should be... I pay my taxes, I obey the laws, and I contribute to charity...
I, on the other hand, do nothing of the sorts. A medal for you, and
forty lashes for me. What do you think?
I think if you'd drop the sarcasm... Stop trying to play to the audience
(readership) and actually engage me in discussion we might have a very
interesting chat...
I honestly fear for the future of a society that uses "moral equivalency" as the
standard... the whole "do what feels right, not what is right" thing... It
depresses me... I'm not joking here...
You don't say.
