Grow Up Margaret. The Electorate have spoken.
The UUP got ONE, count it O-N-E seat.
The SDLP was neutered with the loss of John Hume, who used carry the
party.
For what its worth, there were only two people who should have gotten
that first Nobel Prize, Gerry Adams and John Hume.
They were the bois who took the risks and made the first moves.
There have been several people since who should have gotten it.
I cannot think of another time where Terrorists voluntarily came in to
the democratic process.
They still haven't. Their crimes go unpunished. Better still, their crimes
are haloed. Worse still, those terrorised must sit by whilst there state
colludes with the terrorists in their efforts to downplay their role.
Credit all around for that.
Save it for the real heroes. Those who suffered the terrorism and continue
on with their lives unsung by the cowards who toted the weapons. The same
ones that claim the "credit".
