I could never figure out why some people embrace a political ideology so
totally when they don't make a living in politics. I may for instance vote
for a particular political party but I don't go along with everything it
espouses. I just can't get excited about party politics or left wing versus
right wing stuff. To me it is just plain weird a non politician getting
their knickers in a knot over stuff like that
