I have a solution for that one. Follow the Irish example, switch off
the lights at home and watch the game in the pub with a crowd.

Although if they all discover playstation, it would reduce their
chances of making the World Cup final.

It will always be thus. You will postulate solutions that will require
the modification of human behavior and I will yammer on about the
technology that will leave humans to behave as they usually do. The
solution will fall between us both.

The future is what we are trying to discuss. Hard thing for most Irish,
I know, we get a crick in our neck trying to swing around.....

True, but last I looked, Sellafield was still operational. And the
plant Fine Gael were complaining about at Wyfla is no spring chicken.

I have no argument to make there. My only concern is in tilting at
those windwills we will drag the entire argument down to finger
pointing rather than a rational debate on the needs and acceptable
risks in getting there.

The posture isn't to shut down Windscale and Wyla because they are old.
It is to shut them down because they are nuclear.

There are BOB Spitfires still flying today. Of course the only thing
that is still original are the logbooks. Granted as a design the
spitfire isn't much cop against the F-15.
