Yes, that was Francie's wife you refer to. I have just come off the phone to
here and she is so outraged (as I am). Talk about progress! Hundreds of cops
and British soldiers surrounded Francie's house when he was interned without
trial in 1973 and they did the exact same thing this morning. All they
managed to do was terrify Francie and Ann's grandchildren and as Ann told
me, all they had to do was to ask Francie to come in for questioning and he
would have gone. On the day of the Claudy bombing, Francie was working at an
extension to his house when his mother came running to tell them about a
bomb in Claudy and Ann remembers it very well..........as we all remember
particular incidents with crystal clarity. This whole thing is an obvious
stunt and God only knows to what purpose. And additionally, Ann has been
quietly working in the background to increase the acceptability of the PSNI
in our community! So, blow it out yer arse Falcon!
