Welcome back Falcon. You've been so quiet of late, I thought you'd gone the way of Doris Day,
The Assets Recovery Agency has seized 250 properties in Manchester worth £30m and believed to be linked to the IRA. A statement by the agency on Thursday said searches were carried out on domestic and business properties linked with two Manchester businessmen. It follows a High Court application for search and seizure warrants.
The statement is believed to emerge from investigations into the business and financial affairs of Thomas "Slab" Murphy, an IRA man from South Armagh. Murphy is widely considered to be the head of the IRA.
