Then there was the countrywoman who went to the doctor complaining of
terrible 'groin' pains every time it rained. He got her to hop up there and
he bent to have a squint at the area in question.

'I think I see the problem' he said as he went to work on her and after only
a few minutes reckoned that he was done. Looking out the window he could
see it was still raining so he told her to go out for a run around in the
rain to see if there was any improvement. She looked a bit skeptical, but
sure she had nothing to lose, so out she goes in the rain.

Back she comes after a few minutes, all smiles of gratitude and relief to
tell him that she no longer felt a thing and was completely cured of her
mystery ailment. 'What did you do at all, doctor, you've worked a miracle,
after all those years of pain and suffering?'

'Oh it was nothing', said the doc. 'I just cut a few inches off the top of
your wellies!'
