Well, first, "tens of thousands" of civilians have not been killed by US
forces. The vast majority, almost all, of the civilian casualties we caused
by the terrorists. For example, in the first half of this year the number
of civilians in Iraq killed by the terrorists is 3,048. The number of
civilians killed by US forces is... 48 (but that counts civilians killed in
crossfires with terrorists, and some of those 48 were actually killed by
terrorists).
sources?
Second, civilians accidentally killed as a result of combat
are not "murders". Civilians die in wars, they always have and they always
will. That's just one of the many reasons that wars are bad. So, as is
normal for people in this newsgroup, you just don't know what you are
talking about.
This is a convenient absolution by word play. If innocent civilians die
by Coalition actions, the deaths are coarlition responsibilities, no
matter how you might play with definitions.
