Did the US forgive the British soldiers after the Rev war?
Did the Union forgive the Rebel soldiers after the War between the
States? Did the USA forgive the German soldiers after WWI?
Did the USA forgive the Jap, Italian, & German soldiers after WWII?
Did the USA forgive the VC soldiers after the Kennedy war in Vietnam?

So what is the big deal about forgiving the Iraqi insergents, not the
Muslim terrorists, now to end the Iraqi war?

"If you can read this, thank a teacher - and, since it's in English,
thank a soldier"

Good points, but as to your tag... why should I thank a teacher for doing
the job they're paid for? Shouldn't you be thanking IT professionals for
making this available to read on Usenet, and power company employees for
making your machine work, and ... etc., so why thank teachers more than
anyone else?
