Yet Another New US Offensive against Iraqi Resistance
Baghdad, Mar 28 (Prensa Latina) The Central Command of the US occupiers in
Iraq began a new offensive Tuesday against the Iraqi insurgence in a
desperate attempt to annihilate it.
The tactic is centered in the city of Baiji (north of Baghdad), where the US
forces have placed control points on the main roads to that Sunnite
community and carry out house searches looking for presumed insurgents.
Arab TV recalled Operation Swarm, a large and failed offensive carried out
by the invading forces just four days ago.
A similar failed attempt against the insurrection, Operation Scorpion, took
place on March 24 in northern Kirkuk.
US authorities want to control the resistance, but violence is increasing in
the streets of this nation, occupied since April 9, 2003.
Iraqi minister of interior confirmed the death of two people and that a
third was wounded, all members of an enterprise offering service to the US
aggressors, who were shot by a non-identified group in the village of
Tikrit.
Similarly, two police were wounded by a homemade bomb on a highway in
Kirkuk.
