Is Israel REALLY facing a demographic crisis?

Seems to me that all it would take is a bit of creative gerrymandering
and Israel's demographic problem would go away for a hundred years.
Group every Arab community or neighborhood into one non-contiguous
electoral district, and divide the rest of the country into
normally-shaped electoral districts. Voila: the entire Knesset becomes
Jewish, and stays that way, except for one token seat held by an Arab.
It's not that hard. Hell, give me a map of Israel, some No. 2 pencils,
six donuts and a pot of coffee, and I could do it myself.
The U.S. does exactly the same thing - ever seen a map of Illinois'
congresional districts?
