Anti-Islam trolls using the *cross-posting* method to destroy several
NGs.

Crossposting off-topic to not related groups is a traditional tool of
spammers.

Attempting to cancel someone else's post is really, really dumb
because:

1. 80% of the news servers now ignore cancel messages, due to past
abuse;

2. Automated software run by usenet admins flags such cancel messages
as "suspicious" because critical header elements don't match.
Suspicious messages are published in a summary which is available to
everyone; such as news.readfreenews.net

3. 99% of ISPs regard rogue cancels as a violation of their terms of
service and will terminate the account of anyone caught issuing such
cancel messages.

So, if you only catch around 20% of the news servers, trigger software
which records your cancels in such a way that you can be traced by
your ISP, and if your ISP is among the 99% who will terminate your
account for such activity, who is the dumb guy?
