President reaffirms non-interference in Lebanon affairs

by Lebanese.

Supreme National Security Council, with Paris-based daily, Le Figaro,
on resolving crisis in Lebanon and the future of Hezbollah resistance
movement of Lebanon, Ahmadinejad noted that the issues of Lebanon and
Hezbollah are their own, and Iran never interferes in their affairs.

"We have always emphasized the need for solidarity and national
sovereignty of Lebanon, supported their efforts to safeguard
independence and dignity of the nation, and extend spiritual support
for all friends, who make efforts to materialize the goal," he added.

Pointing to the fact that the current events in Lebanon are harmful
for the nation and the entire nations in the region, he said, "I
called on regional countries to be more vigilant on the conspiracies
of the foes, who sow discord in Lebanon."
