Justice Not Served
Sorry, but America has been on this course for a very long time
Justice Not Served - in the shooting down of a civil Iranian aircraft
by a US warship in 1988 in Iranian territorial waters. The Iranian
Airbus was on a domestic flight using a regular air route when it was
shot down in Iranian territorial waters on 3rd July 1988. All 290
civilians were killed.
Captain Rogers of the USS Vincennes was intent on 'taking out' the
aircraft.
The Captain of the Vincennes, Will Rogers was known as a man hungry
for action.
The crew of the USS Vincennes received a heroes welcome at San Diego.
The crew all received combat action ribbon for service in the Persian
Gulf. So arrogant was the captain that he did not apologise for what
he had done.
To date, no one has been brought to trial or charged with their
murder. Clearly as far as the West are concerned the death of Muslims
is of no significance.
