20 reaon against Sanctions and military intervention in iran.

1)
The War im Irak/afghanistan is lost and american have no capacity
for
new War

2-20)
why do you need more ?

Ah, but the Americans have capacity for imposing sanctions of the type
that killed 1/2 million Iraqi children and Madeleine Albright thought
was worth killing the kids for:

Moreover, the US airforce is not that tied down and could be used for
another illegal and immoral war on another Third World Country.
Anybody who thinks that the Democrats are any better is
underestimating the corruption of the US political system and its
domination by the Israel-first lobby.
America always has plenty of arms and money for killing people :-(

I think if you talk to people in Iran, the sanctions are already
making life difficult and these are only the unofficial US
sanctions.
I was there in March / April and I spoke to several people who work in
the oil industry who were complaining about lack of spare parts and
how it hurts the business or makes everything very expensive to run.
A colleague of mine recently attended a conference where the head of
the National Iranian Tanker Company complained bitterly about how
safety at sea (for everybody) is compromised because the Americans
don't allow radar parts to be sold to Iranian shipping companies. As
for the aviation industry, we all know the problems caused by
sanctions.

The above are as NOTHING compared to what might happen. If the kind
of sanctions that Iraq was subjected to are applied to Iran, it will
be very bad news indeed for the people although it won't affect the
ruling elite very much. In fact, the "Agha Zadeh" types and the
Sepaah will make a fortune out of smuggling, rationing and general
misery of the people.

BTW, I think Nima is giving reason FOR attacks and sanctions against
Iran, not against them.

Finally, I can think of Exxon, Shell, BP and Chevron as being among
those who would love to see $100 / barrel oil!
