Re: First Bahai Monarch passes away

I have been there and hunted there as well, on Mount Hood in the south
Island.

I hunted for two interesting animals, both transplanted from other parts of
the world.

One was called a Thar, and the other a Chamois. The Chamois is from the Alps
and the Thar from the Himalayas.

The Chamois or Chammi as they say in Kiwi land, is like a gazelle or in that
family and the Thar is a goat that has this brown mare and lives on the high
mountains. I had to take a helicopter to get there.

Also there was a very interesting deer that I have never seen before and
unfortunately I could not go after one, it was a deer with horns that grow
like a V on each side of the head.

Also if CTG reads this, I did buy some sweaters and jackets made by a
company called Swandri which is made of wool and is the best sweater and
jacket I have ever worn or seen.

And those KIWIS are tough sons of bitches. I have never seen so many tough
farmers. One of them jumped from the helicopter on the mountain to grab a
deer just for the show. It was incredible, funny, crazy and you should have
seen the deer , the poor animal had no idea what it was and we laughed about
it for days.

One last thing that was also very memorable was sticking a pig that I did in
the south Island that was written in the paper. We went after a wild boar
with knives and dogs and got a big mother around 400 pounds. What the guide
did was set the dogs on the boar, and I had to grab the tail of the boar and
stick the knife in his back side. The poor boar was fighting the dogs who
were biting the snout while I was afraid for my life behind this massive and
angry animal.

It was the biggest rush I have ever had, I almost shit my pants it was so
scary.

I'd love to go there again. I will send some pictures for you.

Mashti, please join me on a trip to my velayat in BC. It is the last
place
that you can enjoy great widlife and the outdoors for seeing some great
bears, deer and it is unlike anything in the US.

If Americans come up here it will cost them minimum 30,000 per trip. I
take
you for free and you can stay with me while here.

RBRK is also invited as is CTG.

Thanks for sharing that story, the same thing happened to me in the
North
West Territories of Canada in a very remote area that I had gone to
hunt.

When I saw the Bahai house, I went in and once they realized I was
Iranian,
they were so hospitable and they gave me coffee and when I came out I
thought to myself
the mullah's in Iran are trying to put out this faith and here it is
in
the
remotest part of the planet with a presence. How wrong those in Iran
who
think they can root it out.

What is striking is that anywhere there are Bahai's there is prayers
and
love for Iran.

Ba Salam;

In Jan this year I went away for Holiday to Cook Islands -It 's
biggest Island is about a circle with a perimeter of 32 Km.
There is nothing in it except some locals , an ancient airport kind
of
like Mehrabad in 1950 , lots of wild chicken jumping from one tree
to
another , dogs , and fresh beautiful water .

Anyway on a scooter exploring the island , I ran into a Baha'i
house......Damn this place was smaller than any Dehat in Iran and
had
a Baha'i house.
