This should be an interesting discussion. I will share with you what I
believe are the greatest weaknesses of Islam, and the greatest
Weakness of us all. For you to consider.
I am not anti-Islamic, by that I mean I do not oppose with violence a
person who is a Muslum. This I believe to be the biggest problem with
Islam, as Islam opposes others with violence.
Why is this a problem. Consider a bird, it has feathers and great
buety. If you give it to a small child. When a bird dies a small child
who has grown to love it will act tenderly and be sadened by its
death. The bird is innocent, it wrongs no one. And so it is loved.
When an adult who has sees the same bird die, and has seen many others
dies, does not care as much knowing, "well the bird has died.". The
adult has achieved wisdom to know the bird is only a bird, and the
bird for instance has less value than a man. So an adult could with
reservation kill a bird, but with greater reservation kill a person.
So now comes my point, when we all grow up we are taught the value of
things, as a child if I am taught correctly I will value all things,
if I am not taught correctly I will value some things more than
another. The order of value we put on things determines how we will
respond to things.
Now here is my point, Christianity teaches, "Do good to all men,
especially the house hold of faith.", so it says look after and
cherish people at church, and also all other people. Infact at church
there is more Joy over a person who does not know God, than there is
over the ones who do (this is from the bible).
The very moment we come from the womb we are taught to cherish some
things, and if the devil has his way teaches us to dispise others.
This is why Jesus said "If you forgive all people, I will forgive
you". If we cherish each other, if we are all equal, we can not hold a
grudge. When one is put above another, as more important as BETTER
then we have made them God. But the question is how much better, is
one than another how much value do we attribute to a person. It is not
wrong to have good leadership, if that leadership treats all men as
valuable. If the leader does not, then they have mad a man into a
bird, that they no longer care for. When the bird dies they say so
what.
We both are guilty of turning men into birds (see the first few lines
if you dont get this), because Satna blinds the eyes of people to see
others as less valuable.
The test for me is "Do I morn when a Muslum family looses a family
member through war". The test for a Muslum is "Do I morn when a
Westerner looses his life".
We both have weaknesses but if we will both morn for one another we
have at least reached the place where we no longer see the the other
as LESS.
