- My brother is not lying. I saw his condition myself. His friend
actually died, how can he be lying?

- Taleghani was definitely not tortured after the revolution but
before.

- The prison in the basement of central shahrbani was known as
"komiteh" even before the revolution. Not sure why.

- It is pathetic to blame the countrywide torture and beating of
opponents on a few "sick elements". This was well-organised and
systematic. The torturers had American and Israeli-made equipment like
the aforementioned "Apollo" and American and Israeli instructors.

- Nobody denies that torture continued and even increased in the
post-revolution Iran. The point is that systematic torture was
introduced in Iran by the Americans and Israelis and the society was
poisoned as a result of that action.
My purpose is not to defend the Human Rights record of the IRI but to
point out that those like you who advocate an American invasion of Iran
are liars who support torture by Americans and Israelis.

Iranians should deal with their problems themselves. We have been
"helped" plenty enough by the foreigners already!!
