Re: Use of Islamic Knowledge of Health and Hygiene Is a Must for All Muslims

Obviously, the Western Health and Hygiene practices are not viable long-term
solutions. They get rid of one disease, create three others. Often "cures"
for one problem lead to bigger health problems. As most things the West has
put its incompetent hands on, the vision is exclusively short term and at
individual level. They have spent several decades and trillions of dollars
finding cures for different cancers. Result: There are more people dying of
cancer today than in 1950. WTF!

Islam on the other hand has a few health practices such as good diet and
exercise (through prayer among other things), and a few hygiene practices
such as vozoo (washing before prayer), and purification rituals that are
easy to learn and apply with excellent results. The vision for Health in
Islam is a global concept that considers a healthy mind can only live in a
healthy body and vice-versa. Follow what is advised by Islam and chances are
you will never have to sit for hours in the waiting room of the doctor's
office.
