Abrahamists have no such consensus either. Jews say Ha Shem or Yahweh.
Christians say God (or one of its various translations) and Jehovah.
Muslims say Allah. Have Abrahamist religions therefore failed to reach
out to their followers?

 There are so many
names to God in Hinduism at any level.  In Andhra Pradesh there are
many who pray to Theyvudu, when the correct word for God in Hinduism
is Bhagavan.

A word occurs in a language, not in a religion. Deva is an older word
meaning god. Malayali Christians call God Daivam, originally an
abstract noun. Are they using the wrong word? Bhagavan means lord. Are
Christians mistaken to call God Lord?

I also went through a total horror with the Hindus when they new
that I was an NRI and had very little exposure to Hinduism.  They
would often give me the silent treatment.  Many ABCDs and NRIs go
through because of the haughtiness and chauvanism of the Hindus.  Just
look at the various negative stereotypes Hindus have toward NRIs or
ABCDs.
It is really disturbing that Hinduism engenders hatred toward its
own people rather than love.  This is horrifically expressed in the
Manu Smriti where the majority of Hindus are prescribed torture and
punishment for practicing the religion.
The sad truth is that Hindus hate one another rather than practice
love, compassion, and charity toward each other.  I know so because of
the Manu Smriti and my own personal experiences with them.  Case in
point was the hateful treatment I got from the Hindus when I tried to
advertise their business cards to many of the Desis in my area who
were never went to a Hindu temple in their lives.  Guess what
happened, the police were called by the Hindu temple I patronized and
a complaint was made that I took to many business cards.
No benefit will ever be found in Hinduism.  Hinduism is Satanic in
every way shape and form for the vast majority of Desis.  The only
religion that will benefit a Desi is Buddhism.  This has been proven
time and again.  It is true in my life and will be the case in other
peoples lives.
Hinduism should not be patronized by any low caste member of
Hinduism.  There is no education for them whatsoever.  According to
the Vedas the only people who are allowed to be educated in Hinduism
are the Dvijas.  The low castes, on the other hand, are exploited and
ruined by the greed, hatred, and delusion of the Dvijas.

According to which verse in the vedas?

A Dvijas is literally a Devil.  Time will tell, as if it has not
already, that Hinduism is a failed religion in every way shape and
form to the vast majority of it's members.  It a curse to mix with
Hindus.

Jai Bhim!
