Awesome, India certainly knows how to treat its sportspeople.

If you have lucrative endorsement contracts like most cricketers do, you can pretty much afford to lose most of your matches until your contract is up for renewal. Just around then, most will miraculously recover from "injuries" and score a 50 or more, and continue the onward march to mediocrity.
