That is called private enterprise. There are other cities in India
where big condominium projects have come up. People have paid premium
prices for all types of amenities. But they found out that the
developer had no responsibility for the upkeep after first five years or
so. The owners of the condos no longer can afford to pay for the
amenities and places are so run down that they are being sold at big
losses. Such developments have taken place in many cities in India such
as Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Kolkata and others. ..........BND
