Shreesh Maharaj(Swami Sarbottamananda)

Dear friends of SCI,
I found the following account about him very interesting and I think
some of the readers of SCI might too.
Some of you might consider this posting irrelevant perhaps.In which
case,
I hope you'll forgive me.

this is about my encounter with shreesh jadhav.
one chap who did both b.tech and m.tech in c.s at iitk and also phd
from iitk .
his working area is mainly computational geometry. he has a published
research paper on computational geometry. as a man he is just gr8.
once he was
a social worker. he fought for bonded labourers working at
construction sites
in iitk campus. they
are paid extremely poor wages and kept in inhuman living conditions.
most of them are from remot villages in bihar and u.p. and the great
majority are illiterate.
he has lot of spiritual leanings. swami vivekananda is his ideal. he
answer
spiritual queries in such a neat and precise manner that one start
listening in rapt
attention when he speak.
Now he is maharaja-monk at belur math. now his name is swami
sarbottamananda.
he is the dean of the new vivekananda university. he has a strong
subject
knowledge on CS as well as other subject knowledge.



From my personal encounter with Shreesh Maharaj during my last 3years
at vidyamandira (belur math) here are a few more things I must add.
He is one of the most brilliant mathematical brains I have
seen.
He is very brilliant and intelligent.
He has a fantastic memory. he dont give up anything that he want to
do.

But more than all that he is really dedicated to his cause.
