Wedding advice please - UK specific post.

Good day.
I am , for lack of a better expression, a non-asian (white) father
taking his 7 year old daughter to Sikh wedding next Saturday in
Birmingham. I am keen to fit in, and would like to honour (i.e.
definitely not offend) any cultural sensitivities... I would really
appreciate some advice on the following...
a) Is there and order and preferred method/protocol of meeting the
Bride and Groom's familiy for the first time ? i.e. shaking hands,
bowing, clasping hands , kissing on cheek etc (Oh how ignorant I feel)
b) There is a "No Gifts please" footer on the invite... Do I really
honour this or substitute my own cultural upbringing of providing a
gift, I would really like to offer some token, if just to say thank
you.
c) Where can I get a saree for a 7 year old girl in the Chelmsford,
Essex UK area *real* quick :-) and do I have any hope of dressing my
daughter correctly on the morning of the wedding, or should I ask for
early assistance at the wedding discretely ?
d) All advice welcome and humbly accepted.
Many thanks
Adrian
