BJP has dozens of ideologically affiliated but independent
organizations - how far you are going to assign the blame and
accountability to BJP for every mishap in which some individuals
afficliated with some organizations are involved? The murder was a
result of rivalry among local student gangs affiliated with student
unions during student body elections and the professor siding with one
group over another. ABVP is a national organization with loosely
organized local chapters in college campuses - what sone students do in
some local campuses to handle local situations has nothing to do with
local abvp leadership or national abvp leadership or dozens of other
iedologically affiliated sister organizations. This is not the first
time violence has taken place among rivals during student elections in
India - only thing special about his incident is that it happened in
bjp ruled state by students affiliated with ABVP. It shows congress's
desperate and fascist tendensies to elevate the issues at highest level
even for localized and isolated scuffles.

police for allegedly manhandling and throwing mud at a professor, two
ABVP leaders, including its state unit chief, were formally arrested on
Thursday for the murder of the professor in an attack during college
elections, police said.

I bet they were not even present on the scene of crime. They are
arrested because they are leaders of an organization who may have made
provocative statements in the heat of elections but not involved in
actual scuffle that resulted in violence - the people who carried out
violence are being elevated as defecto leaders of abvp in order to
implicate entire abvp leadership - that is what i mean by that
congress has political compulsions to blow the accountability of its
opponents out of proportions bordering on political persecution -
elevating the low-level culprits as people representing the leadersip
of not only one organization but all sister organizations whose common
thread is only ideoological cooperation.

complaints of irregularities on August 26, were named in the case
registered earlier against unknown persons.

They are arrested for making statements on TV. No court can convict
them on that ground alone. Congress is not satisfied that culprits are
booked, it wants heads of top leaders of abvp and bjp and no amount of
arrests will be sufficient for congress until whole BJP government is
dislodged. This is how congress plays it politics of destruction.
However, it is not willing to subject itself to same standards of
accountability. Are you saying that congress affiliated organizations
are never involved in crime and violence - when did you ever hear
state-wide 'banths' and 'dharanas' and 'gheraos' about such incidents?

So there is nothing wrong
in Congress party condemning the killing of the professor allegedly by
activists of the Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) and demanding
action and an apology from the Bharatiya Janata Party.

That smacks of your congressy bias and typical double standards.

For proof of crime and involvement of people associated
congress-opponents is not needed for congress to demand accountability
at highest level. But congress will not subject itself to
accountability at any level even when its crime and involvements are
self-evident and proved.
