Your statement, "If AIDS is a problem, it is likes of sharmila who
are main culprit - who in the name of fighting problem they created in
the first place, are now trying to spread it even far and wide by
unleashing sex from committed relationships and making it integral part
of childhood and growing up. This is cultural terrorism." is one of the
most incorrect statement I have read about AIDS and HIV. Blaming
Sharmila Tagore of Cultural Terrorism is as stupid a statement as I have
read any where made by anyone.
It is AIDS (Acquired Immune deficiency Syndrome) and not AID as you
state. . It is not caused by too much sex. Its is the result of a virus
infection (Human Immune deficiency Virus or HIV). If you don't have HIV
infection, you don't get AIDS. If you have AIDS, you have had HIV
infection. There is 20 years of solid scientific proof on this. HIV
infection results in various illnesses by attacking your immune system.
When this happens, other diseases and conditions may occur because of
your weakened immune system or because of the long term affect of HIV on
your body. Some are Opportunistic Infections and death is usually due to
one of these. AIDS is not caused by sex within marriage or sex outside
marriage? Whether one is married or not has nothing to do with AIDS.
When HIV enters blood, it also appears in other body fluids. Blood
transfusion, exchange of needles among drug users, a cut on a surgeons
hand and contact with blood from an infected person, children born to
HIV positive mothers are example of how situations where HIV can be
transferred to another person.
