The Mumbai blasts and the usual suspects

Apart from the usual suspects, it seems to me that this particular set
of bombings _could_ have been the handiwork of the CIA.

The reasons include the recent spy scandals involving the CIA
infilterating the highest ranks of Indian bureaucracy, and defense and
spy services.

Or it could be a part of a general plan by the CIA to stoke conflicts
all over the world - first because conflict keeps people occupied with
internal security and not worry about the depreadations going on
outside the country. And secondly, because conflict makes people
amenable to manipulation - it greatly increases the influence and
intervention abilities of the US in the conflict zone, with a view
towards enhancing US interests at the cost of the local interests.

The coordinated attacks would have been tough to manage for the
jihadists, but a trivial thing for the CIA. But since it would be
impossible to find clues about the CIA's involvement, I believe
frustrating the hopes of all possible desired outcomes is the best
thing to do with any bombing. That means accelerating the economy (to
frustrate the jihadists) and keeping the spotlight on the CIA (to
frustrate the efforts of its operations in India). And not to become
obsessed with internal affairs so much that we neglect to use the
outside world's resources to India's advantage and gains.
