Re: Something strange is going on

you already talked about other (unfriendly) sources of trouble that are not
skyward.
yes, i agree, for isro to have 2 out of 2 failures in a week is way too
much, given its long track record. your suspcion is on the money. something
tells me isro has learned all the right lessons already.

It is true that the scientists and engineers have to proceed with the
assumption of design/assembly failure.

It just seemed too much of a coincidence that all these failures
happened in the takeoff stage - the stage that is most vulnerable to
disruption by high energy ray weapons.

great observation; statistical in nature at the momment but does arouse
suspicion. however, the source of trouble may not only be skyward.

N Korean missile fails. Plane crash in Russia. Indian missile fails.
Plane crash in Pakiland. Indian satellite launch fails.

All within one week's time.

What if the USA has a system set up recently in space (aka star wars)
that uses radiation (like microwaves) to overwhelm the circuitry of any
missile/plane launched from earth - a secret part of its missile
defense system that it is testing on launches / planes right now.
Israel already uses a similar system on its airplanes to deflect heat
seeking missiles.

I suggest that India attach radiation (and plasma) monitoring black
boxes, which survive crashes/explosions, on all its future launches.
They would have to have a filter that measures the intentity of
received radiation but prevents the overwhelming of their internal
circuits. The data from such blackboxes would be the only way to make
sure there is no mischief going on.
