Both countries need each other. Cooperation is vital.
We both need clean energy and not nuclear waste. India can produce many
of the products we need for this, and for themselves.
The answer for Indias poor rural folk is decentralized energy and self
sufficiency. Biomass use would make this possible, as would many right
sized technologies. Everyone cannot be urban and enjoy a good
lifestyle. Tourism should be promoted in rural areas, especially
ecotourism , making it profitable to save your most beautiful areas.
