Re: Ganguly's batting !

My beef against Ganguly is his innate laziness and his apparent
inability to lead by example in the area of fitness. Indian cricketers
in the past been a bunch of prima donnas that have not gelled as a
team.
Thus you find battiing averages in India have been inflated by
individual performances but India's abysmal won loss record
particularly abroad has shown that they do not work as a team. It
appears
Greg Chappell is trying to weed out the prima donnas and get instead
enthusiastic and young cricketers who work hard, are fit and meld as a
team. All strength to that objective.
