They think they can act and say anything with impunity. The SFI did
considerable damage to private property through the inaction and the
'mute' blessing from the ruling LDF government. They are critical of
the judges because some judgments did not go the way they wanted. They
say they will defy the judiciary, the seriousness of which they do not
know. They are scoffing the rule of law. Those who defied should be
arrested en mass and prosecuted. Will the government and courts
cooperate? I doubt it. The governing parties are very uncomfortable
to bring in normalcy because they are more used to agitations, bundhs,
darnas, and hartal. How can they find fault with those who carry out
their wishes! The courts are too busy to pay attention to what is
happening, i.e. the daring of rule of law. They are busy considering
hundreds of habeas corpus petitions, issuing stay orders, and granting
anticipatory bails.
