Is Cantonese a forgotten dialect?

Out of curiosity, i dropped by HMV store for DVDs like Red Cliff, Kungfu Panda
etc. and i am dissappointed by their language track. No Cantonese track -
Mandarin only. What gives? Is the entire island brain washed till they forget
their native tongue?
