well, here is what i have heard. Lao Family of MN is operated under
two Administrations/two Presidents. Mr. Tou Xiong, although ruled
illegitimate by the court, is backed by the Director, Nyaij Looj Yaj,
former Director, Vaj Yeeb and many of the Hmong community leaders.
Mr. Chuepheng Lee is the litimate one, but he has no support from
anyone except his own Lee clan. The main issue now is the Planning of
the July 4th Soccer tournament. Apparently, the Director, Nyiaj Looj
Yaj and Tou Xiong have already signed a contracts with a team of some
businessmen to handle the July 4th Tournament and both parties will
split the money made. Many booths have already been sold. Now with
the new and litimate President, Chuepheng comes in, he wants to take
over the July 4th tournament by himself. He has asked the Director,
Nyiaj Looj Yaj to hand over all the money made from the booths sold
and the contract with the businessmen, but Director Nyiaj Looj refused
to do so.
Now there is one BIG problem. The contract with the city on como park
where the tournament will be taking place has not yet signed. The
city has learned now that there has been a conflict between these
hungry Hmong Hyenas. The city has a second thought. Sound like It
will refuse to give the contract or sign the contact with any of these
parties. The final result is that we will see not just hyenas fight
hyenas, but the sharp horns buffalos chasing these hungry hyenas
around as well. these sharp horns buffalos are those hmong who have
bought booths, but can't get their money back or can't get booths
because the city refuses to contract for the event.
Will just wait and see...
