the city of minneapolis tried to settle the case with fong's family
before the case went to trial, but they refused. they wanted it to go
through a jury trial and it has. next will be the verdict. remember
the verdict is made by jurors, not the city or the police. jurors are
the middlemen who take no side. whatever the verdict turns out to be,
i urge that we hmong must respect it and live by. we must not protest
or cause any riots.
